Am i pregnant?

by joan__0, Nov 19, 1998 12:00AM

Hi, Recently in the last few days my breasts have been extremely soar.
Especially when I wake up in the morning, they are extremely stiff and seem
to be slightly swollen. I have heard this is a sign of pregnancy, but as of
yet I have no other symptoms. Also, I am concerned because I am currently
taking amoxicillion for an illness. Should I stop taking it and go get a
test? Or is it safe to stay on the meds? Thanks for the help
  Brooke
Dear Brooke:
Breast tenderness is a symptom of ovulation. When it occurs following a misssed menstrual period in association with nausea, especially in the morning, urinary frequency, constipation, it is more likely to suggest pregnancy.
Amoxicilllin is a safe antibiotic for use during pregnancy.
Keywords: pregnancy, amoxicillin
