Bladder prolapse and delivery

How does having a pro lapse into the vagina (not serious before pregnancy) effect the birthing.  I mentioned to my OB (who hasn't given me an internal yet Im 33 weeks) that my OB in Australia mentioned the pro lapse 2 years ago.  I asked my OB will that effect birthing and she said maybe but didn't go into details.  Also sex has become almost impossible because every time my husband and I attempt it feels as if I have a bladder infection because of the irritation of the motion.  But after testing there isn't one.  I feel as if the bladder must be protruding more into the vagina and this is causing the irritation.  Any information would be appreciated.
