Bleeding if Pregnant

by Ganesh-Nagarajan, Apr 02, 1999 12:00AM

Is is possible for my wife to be bleeding if my wife is pregnant. It has been 18 days since ovulation and she has seen some bleeding today. Could it be possible that she is pregnant?

Dear Ganesh
Yes, it is possible to be bleeding if pregnant. However, I would be much more suspicious that this could be the start of menses, especially if your wife's cycles are irregular or longer that 28 days (counted from the start of one menstrual period to the start of the next).
