I have a four-year-old daughter who gets one sinus infection on top of another. We have a humidifier in our home (which was just built in October) and a vaporizer in her room, but her nose is often thick with mucous that is dark and bloody. As a result she has trouble breathing, and the mucous becomes so hard and sticky that it is VERY difficult for her to blow it out.
They have used many antiobiotics on her, but it always seems to come back after two weeks. She also gets headaches and very dark circles under her eyes.
What can be done to help her?
