Cutting a childs hair.

  I was wondering if anyone knows the reprocussions of
  cutting a childs hair too early.  I have heard that
  there could be things such as loss of curl all the way
  to alopecia areata (permanant hairloss)   I would love
  if someone could email me some information on this topic.
  My 2 year oldchild has gotten his hair cut by his father
  when he was there for a visit, behind my back, he has gone
  so far as to SHAVE his hair with shavers.   And i would
  greatly appreciate some info on what this could do to my
  childs hair in the long run.

There are no known medical consequences to cutting hair early ( as early as a few months of age).
