Does Progesterone Level Affect HCG Levels At All (or vice versa)? ...

It seems that my HCG levels are a bit high. I have been using a "natural progesterone" topical cream, and wonder if this might affect HCG levels at all. I never had my progesterone level tested, but figured it couldn't hurt to use the cream since I was told that, if my body doesn't need the extra natural progesterone, my liver will just filter it out... My doctor did not prescribe the cream. Thanks for any info!

Progesterone does not influence the level of hCG.
hCG does stimulate progesterone production by the corpus luteum.
