Does it make a difference

by Jody__0, Feb 23, 1999 12:00AM

My husband and I want to start a family, but I have to urinate immediately following intercourse.  Does this affect my chances of getting pregnant?  Do I need to lie down for a certain amount of time following intercourse or does it matter?  Thanks in advance.

Dear Jody:
The traditional advice to ladies who are trying to conceive is to stay in a position that retains the ejaculate at the top of the vagina for 10 to 20 minutes.
Keywords: lying down after intercourse
