My girlfriend and I had sex for the first time mid-way through her cycle. We were protected but at one point the condom slipped off. There was no ejaculatory fluid but she is now 3 days late. Is this common? What can cause lateness besides pregnancy. She also says that she has stomach cramping and she feels as if her period is coming but as of yet, it is late. I have also heard that extrememe excercise can cause this symptom.
Im worried and a bit confused...so what are ur thoughts

Whenever there is unprotected intercourse or a break in the barrier protection, the opportunity for pregnancy occurs.  If your girlfriend has regular periods, and intercourse occured at mid cycle there is no real way to tell if any semen entered the cervix.. If her period still has not started the best advice is a home preganacy test following the manufacturers instructions and using her first morning specimen.
