PLEASE HELP with a PREGANANCY TEST QUESTION!!!

I have taken two qualitative blood tests in the last month and both have turned out negative - is there any chance that I am pregnant?  Should I get a quantitative blood test done to be sure - are they any different?
I know people can make mistakes with hpt's but are blood tests the best tests we have?  Is there anyway to have a false negative with a blood test if you have tested twice in one month?
Also, if I thought the blood tests were wrong could I go to my OB-GYN for a pelvic exam and would they be able to tell I am pregnant if I am only two weeks late for my period?
The problem is that the tests keep saying negative but I still "feel" pregnant and want to be sure I have a definitive answer and am not just freaking out about nothing.
