Pregnancy Symptoms

by Moly__0, Aug 30, 1998 12:00AM

Hi!  I was wondering if it is at all possible to get pregnant right after your period assuming you have a 28 day cycle?  My period lasted 7 days (started on march 15) and the day after me and my husband had sex and two days after that we also did.  Since then I have been having pregnancy symptoms like nausea, extreme change in appetite, and going to the bathroom more frequently.  I am currently in the process of weaning my son, so I only am feeding him once a day.  Could this have an effect on when I ovulate?

Dear Tiffany,
You get pregnant around the time of ovulation.  However if the bleeding was not actually a menstration it is possible you may be pregnant.  I recommend a home pregnancy test.  Breast feeding can delay ovulation.
