Pregnancy as the result of Provera?

Pregnancy as the result of Provera?

  Hi there;
I've tried calling my Doctor about this, but I can't get past the receptionist,
who takes a message and says the Nurse will call back.  2 days have passed
with no response, so I thought to come here. I want to thank you in advance
  for your help.
I gave birth to a little girl 8 months ago, and, at the 6 month check-up,
it was discovered that I had hersuitism (or something like that, hormonal
inbalance causing hair to grow on my face and upper legs, irregular periods?)
They gave me the choice of treating this with birth control or Provera.
I'm 25 and I have 2 daughters, but I desperatly wanted a son, and thought
it worth trying once more, willing to love whatever I got.  I chose the
  Provera.
The first month (or 2, I've lost track of time) went fine.  My period came
just like in the old days, not too painful, not to heavy.  The 2nd (or 3rd)
month, I took the medication as always.  4 days later, my husband and I had
intercourse, and directly afterwards, there was the dark, black-ish colored
blood, spotting, that I had when I was pregnant, both times. I've never had
this when not pregnant.  The bleeding stopped, and didn't start again until
the afternoon of the next day.  This time, bright red and semi-heavy.
I bled like this for 4 days, and continued to spot for an additional 4 or
5 days.  This was the first time I'd had spotting with the medication.
In addition to this, this morning, I woke up very sick to my stomach.  I
generally do not vomit unless I've got the 'flu, which pretty much puts
me in bed for at least a day or so, or unless I'm pregnant, which means
I'll vomit for about 4 months and end up in the hospital with hyper-emesis
at least once or twice. Today, the sickness finally got to me, and I vomited
around noon, took a short nap, and felt better afterwards.  This evening,
I because sick again during supper, and have also been dizzy. (I'm always
  dizzy when I'm pregnant.
I had been using an ovulation predictor to calculate when my fertile cycle
would be, hoping to avoid pregnancy until the sale of our house in a few
months.  It turns out that I was using it incorrectly, and avoided intercourse
when it was safe, and the very first day it wasn't, my husband and I were
together. I found that out this month, and felt pretty stupid, and extremely
  worried.
I would simply purchase a pregnancy test, but I have a history of testing
incorrectly.  If the tests were correct, neither of my daughters would be
here, because I tested negative with my 1st daughter 3 times, and with my
second daughter, I tested negative once, at about 8 weeks pregnant. I tested
  positive at 10 weeks.
I'm trying to find out if it would be possible to be pregnant and still
have the bleeding and spotting as I did.  Would the provera still force
a period if I were pregnant?
Please, someone help me before I begin terrorizing my Doctors staff!!!
Thanks for your time, and I apologize the letter was so long, I wanted to
lay out the details for a better idea of what's going on.
Please feel free to email me privatly if you've had similar experiences!
Dear Stacie:
Bleeding in early pregnancy is well known. As a general rule, when a woman who has been pregnant experiences the symptoms she only asociates with pregnancy, I believe her.
Blood pregnancy tests do not give false results.
Provera will not force a period in someone who is pregnant.
