Pregnant Again - Too Soon

  Hi!  I just found out that I am pregnant again after delivering  my son 2 months premature in January of this year.  He was my 1st success after 5 tries (3 miscarriages and 1 stillborn--no reasons given for any of the losses).  I was breastfeeding and am truly overwhelmed by the fact that I am pregnant again! My concern is that it is just too soon! I'm 34 and was on bedrest from Sept 4th until his birth Jan 21st due to bleeding, clotting, cysts, and too much amniotic fluid (tested negative for gest diabetes)!  This baby is due Dec 21st!  I am concerned that my body (a bit out of shape) has not recovered sufficienty and  will not be able to carry this baby.  I'm afraid to tell my employer at this point, since I was just out for 7 1/2 months!  But, obviously, the welfare of this baby is the priority, as well as, still being able to care for my 4 month old!  Any advice appreciated, and apologies if this is the wrong forum.

There is no real reason to believe that your body is unprepared for the present pregnancy. Hence, this should not trouble you at all.
On the other hand, your age and your obstetric  history  is of concern. The constelation of 3 miscarriages, a stillborn and being 35 at the time of delivery mandates genetic counseling.
