I have been concerned about my 9 year olds apparently early growth.
Her Alkaline
PhosphatePhosphate fluoride
Phosphate laxative level is 220. Is this abnormal in a 9 year old?
I can't get a straight answer from our Health Care Providers. Thanks.
Responce : Alkaline Phosphatase
Dear Jan :
NormalNormal saline flush levels of
serumFerritin
Serum calcium
Serum globulin electrophoresis
Serum iron
Serum ketones
Serum phosphorus
Serum progesterone
Serum serotonin level
Sodium - blood alkaline phosphatase tend to vary with age , the
normalNormal saline flush levels for a 9 year old child would range from 130-560 units/Liter ( your daughters levels being within the
normalNormal saline flush range if the test was measured in units/liter) but your family physician would have to check on the normal ranges for the lab that did the test.
I would be glad to discuss the causes of increased serum alkaline phosphatase if youre still interested and hope your daughter is doing well
