My wife just started her 9th week of pregnancy and is bleeding,
spottingVaginal bleeding between periods to heavy period and stops when her feet are put up. We miscarried on April 1, 1998 in a previous pregnancy.
Bleeding and lower back cramping started on 18OCT98. A sonogram on Monday, 19OCT98, showed a
heartbeatHeart palpitations
Ultrasound, normal fetus - heartbeat
Ultrasound, ventricular septal defect - heartbeat of 115-122 BPM.
Our doctor has done 2 examinations since the bleeding started and says that the cervix is closed and he cannot tell where the blood is coming from. His orders are to stay off her feet and take it easy.
I am worried that my we will lose the baby due to the bleeding.
If any one has had to deal with the same thing, I would greatly appreciate a response.
