I've read what you had to say about HCG Levels doubling every 2 days.
However, I had the following experience.
I didn't ovulate until day#20-21.
Positive pregnancy test on April 8
Thursday, April 8: HCG level 31
Saturday, April 10: 70
Monday, April 12: 128
The last number didn't double. Should I be concerned? I'm scared to death.
After trying for so long and FINALLY getting a positive, I just don't
want to lose it!

The hCG "doubling rule" is a rough guide to the normal rate of increase of this placental hormone in early pregnancy. The "lower limit" of normal for hCG rise is 66% increase (or 1 + 2/3) over 2 days. Your values are within the range of normal. Good luck.

I was pregnant back in August of 1998, and I had already had a miscarrage (miscarriage) at 5wks 3days in January. I ended up miscarring again October 24, 1998 with a hcg level of 12,730. I was going into my ninth week of pregnancy. Was that a normal pregnancy or was it abnormal. Now I'm seven weeks pregnant and is scared out of my mind because I don'y know what to do. Please help me.
