My son developed hives at 13 months the week we moved into our new home.  After several doctors, dermatologists, ENT, and allergist and six months later, he still gets them.  He was tested for various health problems, scratch tested for 15 different possible allergies and been on many different antihistamines.  He is currently on 1 tbsp. Zyrtec a night but just one day of coming off it, he gets the hives right back.  We do not see any correlation with certain foods.  They are usually worse in the morning and happen at home, daycare, mall, etc...  I keep wondering if there is something in our drinking water??  All the new paint, carpet, furniture of the house?  He doesn't seem bothered by them except when really bad and present on his hands or feet.  I just don't like having him live indefinitely on Zyrtec.  Any insight???
