My wife's HCG level appears to be doubling every 4 days, instead of 2-3.
At five weeks past last menstual period,  her HCG level was just over 200.  It was 93 four days previous and 35 four days before that.  She is not experiencing and bleeding/spotting, or cramping and never had a known miscarriage (we have one healthy 3 year old).  We are wondering if this pregnancy sounds like it is still viable.




After going through 5 fertility cycles...I have gotten pregnant four times.  The first time...I miscarried.  I knew this was going to happen because my HCG levels did not double every other day.  I would miss doubling by as much as 10.  The 3rd time...it more than doubled every other day and I now have a 2 year old.  The fourth time my HCG missed doubling by 2 and this one turned out to be an ectopic pregnancy.  The fifth time, I did the doubling to the exact numbers and now, I am expecting my 2nd child in June.  Just from my personal experience and my fertility doctors telling me that if my HCG did not double every two days then it would not be a viable pregnancy.  They have been correct each time.  I would consult her ob/gyn but it doesn't sound good to me....from my experience.
