: Hi Susannah - Thanks to you (and the others that replied to my message)! It is really heartening to hear stories of others who did not see a fetal pole and/or heartbeat at the six week u/s. One person that emailed me didn't even see a heartbeat during a seven week u/s, but the pregnancy turned out perfectly normal... These stories are keeping me optimistic. Susannah, like you, my doctor could not detect a fetal pole, but the gestational sac was definitely there (measuring .9 cm by 2.2 cm.). No yolk sac inside to speak of at that time though.... I am just hoping that it was too early! Thanks again, everyone! I will keep ya posted, ~stace :o)

hi i had an ultrasound at 7 weeks and they saw a gest sac and yolk sac but did think they saw a fetal pole-I am extrememly worried.  HCG Fri-48,000 and on Mon was 58000 so that looks good-HELP
