My child is 18 mths.  Been sick since Feb 26.  She's had rsv, roto, pneumonia, dehydration.  Been in the hospital 3 times in 3 weeks.  She has allergy cells showing in her colon.  I will be taking her for an upper endoscopy Fri. to see if allergy cells are there as well.  My child will not eat or drink much of anything.  She is not allergic to food.  She is stumbly-falls down and wont get up.  She lays there til someone comes to her rescue, w/o crying.  She stares into space and we can't get her to come back-clapping, snaps, waves don't help.  She has purple circles under her eyes and is very pale now.  What is up?  I am stressed, concerned, and depressed over my child's illnesses.  I seem to not be able to get her better.  I don't understand what could be causing all this.  Does anyone have clues for me?  I want the best for my child as any mother would want for theirs but, I don't know what else to do but keep going back to the Dr. Are all these tests tramatizing my child?  Please someone help me and my child!!!!  I am so worried!!!!

First off, I am not a doctor.  I just wanted to tell you that I know how worried you must be.  I hope and pray that you get the answers you need soon.  Have you tried giving her popsicles to help keep her hydrated.  My little one will eat them when all else fails.  I have 4 children and know that it is almost impossible to get them to eat or drink when they don't want to or don't feel like it.  I have even used a dropper to get fluid into my son, anything to get the fluids in.  I hope these tips might help you.  Maybe these new tests will
help you discover the problem and get your baby on the road to recovery.  God Bless you and your little one.

Thanks for your advice.  Although, I have already tried the popsicles.  I have even tried running through the house with her.  I know it sounds kinda stupid, but I will do anything to get her to eat.
I ap[reciate your thoughtfulness and prayers.  I hope your family is in good health.

I hope I'm not intruding but my daughter called last night and told us that our 19 months grand Daughter had PERTHES.  We had never heard of this illness and I just started to surf and WOW...there's lottsa suffering out there but I can't find too much data on the disease.  Is "second hand" smoke a cause? Is this heredity?  Is surgery always necessary?  Will medication help?  We feel so helpless!!!  Thanks for listening!
