i am 7 weeks pregnant and have a hcg level of 50,584 as of today 8-10-98
last tues 8-4-98 it was 14,000  i have read it is suppose to double every 2 to 3 days.
is this level ok?.....does it always double?.....worried.....i have tried for 2 yrs to

the serum hCG level does approximately double every 2 to 3 days. A minimum rise over 2 days is 64%.
Your values have gone from 14,000 to 50,500 over 6 days: the progression is 14,000, 28,000, 56,000 during two doubling intervals: this is a reassuring pattern.
