My husband and I are trying to get pregnant,we started on 10/26/98 and have tried several times since then. My period is due to start on 11/14/98, my concern is that I have been bleeding sometimes heavy since 11/5/98 and I am wondering if there is a possibility of being pregnant. I know if I wait long enough, I will be able to tell better but this is very frustrating and confusing. I would appreciate any information you could give me now so I can put my mind at ease as soon as possible.
Dear Dar:
It sounds as if you started your menstrual flow 10 days earlier than expected if you had a normal menstrual period in mid-October and were expecting your flow in mid-November. This happens randomly to normal women. A second issue in someone attempting pregnancy is whether the last menstrual flow was truly normal and whether this bleeding may be related to an unsuspected pregnancy.
