Are there any drug interaction concerns between Prozac and sedation medication for an egg retrieval? The meds I take for retrieval are 100mg demerol, 50mg phenergan. I will ask my doctor, but want to get more than one opinion. Thank you.

Thank you for all the information.  I'm not sure if regular general anesthesia would be the same as sedation that I will be undergoing with just demerol and phenergan.  So far with 2 other responses, I have been told it's ok to be on prozac during sedation.  I still have not talked with my doctor, but will next time I see him to discuss the next IVF.  Thanks again.  I hope the excessive serotonin syndrome is an isolated incident.
