I am six weeks pregnant.(I conceived 6 weeks ago, so that is the actual age of the fetus.)At four weeks, my hcg level was checked, and my doctor said that after two days, it had not risen the way that it should have.  An ultrasound was done, and nothing was seen.  Two days later, another ultrasound was done, and something did show up. My most recent ultrasound was done two days ago.  The embryo measured 3mm.  According to the books I've read, it should be a lot bigger.  Should I be concerned?
I would definitley have another ultrasound scheduled, as well as further
HCG tests. The first ultrasound may have picked up nothing because of many
factors, including the skill level of the tecnician.
Maybe it was too ealry to see anything.
About the size, you may not be as far along as you first thought, maybe
you ovulated later in your cycle.
