I am currently in my 8th week of pregnancy and have been experiencing strange, low-grade lower abdominal pains. These pains "
travelTravel sickness," as I have also felt them down my leg, in my side, and in my back. The pains are not severe, but are more intense and persistent than

Tendon vs. ligament stretching pains. My doctor says not to worry unless they become more severe. She suggested that the corpus luteum is possibly the cause of the pain, specifically the lower abdominal pain.
I'm concerned this pain could be hiding an
ectopicEctopic pregnancy pregnancy or ovary problems. Should an
ectopicEctopic pregnancy pregnancy have ruptured by now? Should I be worried? Any advice is welcome. Thank you!

womenWomen's way experience discomforts in early pregnancy. Most are exactly as your describe: mild, variable in location, duration, description, and pattern. They have no meaning.
Ectopic pregnancy is uncommon and does not present in the way that you describe.
I believe you have been given correct advice.
