What should my HCG level be?

by Lisa-L, Aug 06, 1998 12:00AM

I am 5.2 weeks pregnant (counting from the first day of my last period).
At 4.3 weeks my HCG level was 65
at 4.6 weeks my HCG level was 135 and today, at 5.2 my HCG level was 323.
I am confused as to what a normal HCG level is.  Can you please clarify
for me what is normal and if it is low is there anything I can do.
  Any information is helpful.

Dear Lisa L:
The serum HcG level doubles in value approximately every 2.2 days. The values you offer, 65, 135, 323 are a doubling progression over approximately one week and appears normal. There is no single number.
Keywords: hCG
