  hi,
  about a week back i took clomid 50 mg for five days.now i am waiting to ovulate but the problem is my temp has drop to 96.8 from 97.7.could u tell me the reason?i took aleve 500mg yesterday,did that do that?and one more thing when should i have progesterone test?

A single day BBT change has little significance. The temperature can elevate due to sleep patterns or illness. Temperature can fall due to moisture content of the mouth or medications such as aspirin and Aleve,
The interpretation depends on the pattern: a series of "low temperatures" followed by a series of "higher (usually by more than 1/2 degree F) temperatures" and the elevation is sustained for longer than 10 days.
Progesterone is measured 6, 7, or 8 days into the temperature rise.
