clomid and periods

  hi,
  i have very irregular periods and i want to get pregnant so my doctor gave me clomid 50 mg.i first took progesterone 5 mg for 10 days.i got withdrawal bleeding three days after i took the last pill.now on the fifth day of bleeding i started taking clomid (i.e on 9th of this month) but the problem is i am  still bleeding.should i go to my doctor?shouldn't bleeding stop while on clomid?or is it ok to bleed?thanks

The Clomid is designed to help you ovulate.  It can be taken while you are still bleeding after the progesterone.  The amount and length of bleeding varies with each woman and each cycle, but will not interfere with clomid's effect on ovulation.
