ovarian cysts

by sue__0, Mar 21, 1999 12:00AM

What are the symptoms of ovarian cysts?  I have been having lower right abdominal pain...well it feels more like twitches that really hurt.  They are on and off throughout the day and it really has me puzzled as to what is causing it or if it is just normal.  I don't have any other symptoms.  Thanks for any info.!

Dear Julie:
Most ovarian cysts have no symptoms. When a cyst becomes large, it may cause pressure. When a cyst bleeds or twists it may cause pain.
Twtiches that are short lived and have no other associated symptoms are most often muscle or bowel gas in origin.
Keywords: twitches, ovarian cysts
