ovulation and bbt

  hi,
  a week after ovulation i started spotting which lasted for five days.from third day of spotting my temp dropped from 98.6 to 97.7.do u think i didnt ovulated this month or this is implantation spotting?can temps go down baseline during implantaion?
Dear Murry:
On a basal body temperature record, ovulation is signalled by a rise in temperature, approximately one-half degree F., that is maintained for the next 10-16 days. When the temperature rises and falls back to baseline, this is most often NOT ovulation.
Bleeding can occur around ovulation and at the time of implantation. Both are usually small in amount and last 1 or 2 days.
