prenatal vits make me nauseous!

by GiGi__0, Mar 31, 1999 12:00AM

I am almost 9 weeks pregnant and I've noticed that
my nausea seems worse with whatever meal I take my
prenatal vitamin with. I usually end up throwing up
both the meal and the vitamin!I'm concerned about
a lack of nutrition at this point in my pregnancy.
Is this a problem? Should I resort to a kids'
chewable just so I'm taking something??
I should add that my diet is not quite as well-balanced
as it could be - I try, but lots of things make me feel
sick, so I eat a lot of oatmeal, crackers, turkey meat,
cheese, water, apples, chicken noodle soup and other bland foods.
  THank you!

I have tried two different brands of prenatal - both seem
  to make me feel ill.

Dear GiGi
A chewable vitamin such as "Flintstones", etc. is fine.
