My wife had a C-section on Oct 6th and gave birth to our baby boy. Since then, she has complained of hot areas on her body. For example if she lies in bed on her back, she gets really hot on her back. Is this hormonal? She has no other symptoms. Any suggestions. Thanks.
Dear Tom C:
I cannot explain this symptom. It is true that
womenWomen's way experience a low
estrogenHormone replacement therapy state following
deliveryC-section
Delivery presentations
Infant care following delivery and this can give them hot-flush-like symptoms. Some
womenWomen's way also experience
transientTransient ischemic attack
Transient ischemic attack (tia) thyroid

Carpal tunnel syndrome
Causes of sexual dysfunction
Chronic fatigue syndrome
Dysfunctional uterine bleeding (dub)
Ear barotrauma
Erection problems
Female sexual dysfunction
Femoral nerve dysfunction
Orgasmic dysfunction
Sciatica following delivery: that makes them feel warm all over.
I cannot explain why a lady would experience localized areas of warmth that localizes only to the back while lying down unless there is a plastic mattress cover or something similar that traps heat.
