Our camping trip!

So we went camping for 4 nights over Easter, we went in our caravan to a caravan park next to the beach. I just wanted to tell you, it was fun, but hard work! Bailey is 12 months old now, and he is still crawling, and of course there was no where for him to crawl! We had to keep taking him to the beach to let him get around! Because the park was totally full, all we had was a tiny grass patch, and then there was the road, so there was no relaxing (like the old days!) and we were kept constantly busy watching him. We have decided not to camp again until Xmas when he'll be 20 months old and walking, it'll be easier. I reckon it would be easier with a younger baby who can't get around yet, or with an older child that is already walking. Just thought I'd let you guys know how it was.

I'm with you on that one mizzz! I get too stressed out and worried too, I'm turning myself into a wreck! Just this afternoon I had to race bailey to the doctors because he came down with a sudden slight fever, was crying nonstop and his right eye puffed up a little and was weeping. And then I realised he'd been putting his hands in a puddle of water on my bathroom floor, which most likely contained bleach, and I was scared he'd licked his hands and made himself sick. Talk about panic and feeling like a bad mum!! Turns out he's fine, and he most probably got some stuff rubbed into his eye, I just have to keep an eye on it. AND I just moved his cot into his own room this morning as I thought it was about time he slept in his own room, but now I'm worried he's going to wrap himself up in his blankie like he's done before!! Jeez, just not sure how to rid myself of this anxiety.

I can't believe you went camping with a baby!! Good for you!!! I love to camp but I don't think I'll go much this summer now that my baby walks around. I took a year or two off from camping when my son was a baby. I get so stressed out and worried.
