Another death! Billy Mays is dead today

Billy Mays, age 50, was found dead by his wife this morning. He complained of not feeling well last night when he went to bed. He had just returned from a trip on Saturday and his plane had a rough landing and he hit his head pretty hard. They aren't sure if that led to his death yet.

Some of you may remember him as the guy who was the pitchman for Oxyclean and Orange Glow. The big burly bearded guy with the boisterous voice.

One more bizarre death way too young. Sure makes ya think, doesn't it?

I just heard that, his voice drove me mad on his commercials ... another baby boomer pops their clogs..I am so sorry though he was too young

This was a true shock since he always seemed so healthy and obnoxious on his commercials.  So sorry for his family.  He was so young.

I heard that too. It sure puts a new meaning on that phrase "Live every day as if it is your last". We just never know.

He made the Oxyclean commercials, twehner. If you stay up late and watch the infomercials you'd never forget his voice! He was so energetic about his product!

WOW!  That's very sad.  

I wonder if it WAS that bump on the head.  Remember that actress recently who died because of her accident on the ski slope...man!  I can't think of her name, but SHE thought she was fine at first, too.

It was Natasha Richardson who starred in "The Handmaid's Tale" to the lightweight comedy "The Parent Trap" and the Tony-winning Broadway production of "Cabaret,"  She was 45.

She was Liam Neeson's wife and Vanessa Redgrave was her mother. That was tragic too.

I feel badly for Billy Mays' family!

I only saw his ad a couple of nights ago, I actually turned the sound down as he had this very strong loud voice

Oh my gosh, you are kidding. I read this and was stunned. I can't believe how many celebrities are dying lately. It is kind of scary.

I feel badly for his wife and family, it would be horrible to wake up next to your hubby and find him dead, what an awful shock. He is two years younger than me, wow.
