CBS Palin Vote

PBS has  an online poll posted asking whether Sarah Palin is qualified to be VP.

Apparently the right wing knew about this in advance and is flooding the voting with YES votes.

The poll will be reported on PBS and picked up by mainstream  media.

It can influence undecided voters in swing states.

Please do two things -- takes 20 seconds.

Then send this to every single Obama-Biden  voter you know, and urge them to vote and pass it on.The last  thing we need is PBS saying their poll shows the Country feels Palin is VP/P material.

Obama the most liberal Democrat ever to run for president is not the lesser of two evils, that would be McCain. Republicans were never liberal about ideas or policies.

The republicans need a true conservative to stand up within the party. My choice also lost in the primary...Fred Thompson, so now I am forced to support McCain. Is he the best choice for republicans...no. But is Obama anywhere close to anything republicans stand/stood for no.

Hey, I never said I cared for Obama. Frankly, its a lesser of two evils to me. I'm voting for him because my candidate of choice lost in the primaries...so...there ya go.

I actually do consider myself a true republican (a pre-1980's republican), in the sense of what the republican party is supposed to be. I don't know, my wife says I'm just dreaming; she's a true democrat and has a very vicious view of what republicans are. I was republican; perhaps by today's republican standard I no longer am. But I hope for the day that the Big Elephant will break the chains of the RRight and stand on its own two feet.

And now we see the true mettle of a democrat. She won't let me espouse my republican views on line. She says she'll divorce me!!! :->

That is my concern also, as a registered Democrat who wanted Hillary , I want to vote for my party but I am really concerned about the Wright 20 years and the Ayres stuff also the extreme liberism of O bama and his wife who I have to say has a big influence on him and his beliefs. I am still waiting for that feeling that I have to vote for him .

Savas-you claim to be a long time republican. Well no republican would vote for Obama. No matter what because Obama beliefs are so outside of anything the republican party stood for and stands for.
So don't try to pass yourself off as a republican because you are not. You may have voted republican but that does not mean you are.

You want to talk about corruption, look at Obama with Resko and Obama with Ayers. Open your eyes.

I am a true republican and I hate that under President Bush and the republican controlled congress they spend more then drunk billionaires but you do not turn and vote for a liberal because of that.
What you do is find conservatives and vote for them.

I think playing by their rules is part of the game.  

Isn't it unfair when people are playing a game and one person doesn't play by the same set of rules as all the others?

Sorry, but it's TOTALLY different.

This poll was announced a short time ago to everyone. The republican party got advance warning and sent out a notice to republican party HQ's/Offices across the country WELL in advance of official start date so they could be prepared to do a human equivalent of "Bot voting"; preparing to flood a site with votes en masse.

Absolutely make an informed vote. As a long time republican (myself) who no longer can stomach the irresponsibility of his own party, I am.


If you want a VP who supports:

censoring/banning books,

aerial hunting of wolves,

forcing rape victims to pay for their own rape kits,

has been connected to many questionable and corrupt political practices and politicians (The bridge to nowhere, Ted Stevens, scandals involving big oil campaign contributions, Methane drilling, etc...)

Is so ignorant of foreign policy and domestic policy that she didn't even know what this administration's present policies are (Her own party!!!)

and is obviously confused on the concept of seperation of church and state to such an extent that if I was her neighbor I'd be checking for the Spanish Inquisition starting up in her living room; (She's a creationist who believes in teaching creationism in schools...which is something I won't get into here...unless someone wishes to...discuss it).

ah, I forgot that she doesn't believe in abortion in ANY case, including rape, incest, even if the victim is a child, even if its shown their life will be in jeopardy if the pregnancy continues).

And doesn't believe in global warming...which, btw, I'm fine with as long as one does support treating the planet with responsibility which...she doesn't. her track record doesn't show it. Quite the opposite. Oil drilling, suing the government to remove animals/have them not put on the endangered species list, etc...

Then go right ahead and vote for McCain/Palin.

Or Don't.

Oh, btw, I don't see how Palin's four years as mayor of a small town (Alaska the town of Wasila) And one year as governor of that state is equivalent experience to Obama's three TERMS in the Illinois senate and four years in the US Senate.

You are doing the same thing as "the right wing" did. You want undecided voters to be influenced by a poll and not facts.

Fact: Gov. Palin has executive experience.
Fact: Obama does not have executive experience.
So just in that alone based on "who's more qualified" Palin is more qualified then Obama to be President.
