Cell Phones & Text Messages

Can cell phones have glitches in text messages?

Example: Getting programmed into someone's phone in contacts along with a photo. And, that person getting text messages from someone that isn't you. And, that someone texting that person back and sending a inappropriate photo and telling you they sent it to you but you NEVER got anything. And, that person saying oh well, it doesn't really matter.

Cellphones do have glitches in text messages but nothing like this. Mostly just texts being received days later that were sent days earlier. Or not coming through and getting errors when trying to open them.
