Hey all, I am having a fun time with my man dealing out some good fun punishments for his silly behaviour. Like today he forgot to switch back to solar collection for the hot water...guess who had a freezing shower this morning? So, I shoved iceblocks down his back saying this is what it feels like to have freezing water on his boobies. He took it all in fun.
NOW I want to know some good clean practical jokes I can play on him. He has done plenty to me in the time I have known him and I need some ideas!!!! Nothing that is considered easy targeting back to me though...hee hee!
Seriously, RR? What's wrong with having a little fun with each other? Granted, I probably wouldn't have done the ice block things but I think it's great to have fun with each other, as long as no one gets hurt!
As for ideas, one April fools day I played some practical jokes on my husband that he thought was pretty funny. And not a single one hurt him or anything else! The first thing I did was have some of my neighbor friends move his car out of our driveway the night before, after my husband was in bed. You should have seen us! Four of us moving the car across the street, giggling like kids and wondering what the police might think if they saw us! We moved his car to my friend's house behind his car so my husband wouldn't see it right away.
Then I removed all his black socks & underwear from his drawer and hid those. My kids stuffed newspaper in his military work boots that he'd wear the next morning. They also put Vaseline on the toilet seat. (That one was for me, little stinkers!)
When my husband got up the next morning I could hear him fishing around his drawers for his socks. I pretended to be asleep. I heard him go outside and come back in exclaiming "Where is my car?!" I still pretended to sleep but couldn't keep my smile off my face. He started laughing and threatened to take my car to work if I didn't tell him where his car was. He was amazed that I moved it without him knowing and it was a stickshift and I didn't know how to drive a stickshift!
However, he got a kick out of it all and left for work laughing. I haven't been able to think of much that could top that one though.
Really, seriously, April. My husband and I have GREAT fun with each other, we just don't sabotage each other and try to make fun of each other or worry each other at the other's expense.
If someone removed my husband's car, he would report it to the police when he saw it was missing, and would be greatly distressed. Not that funny, really, when the cops arrived to take a felony theft report.
I'm not a party pooper, I love humor, I just don't like making fun of people and then expecting them to react like it's funny.
It's like people who hide around corners and leap out and scare people. It's not funny. It's just mean.
If you want to do something funny, do something funny. Not something mean, I say. ;D
Well, to each his own, I guess. My husband realized right away that I pulled a joke on him. I wouldn't have let it go too far to the point that he'd call the police. I guess we just know our hubbies well enough to know how they'd react or what kinds of jokes they can appreciate.
And I don't like people jumping out from around the corner, either. Like I said, I don't go too far with jokes to where it wouldn't be funny. I think there is a line you can cross, to be sure.
We did have fun that day, though. :)
I guess I shouldn't tell you about the time we got into a water fight in the kitchen and my husband played dirty and turned the sprayer on me? Yeaaahh...we were drenched, the kitchen was drenched. We still had fun though, even if it wasn't so much fun cleaning it up. At least it was just water. :)
Speaking of good fun, did you all see my new journal I just posted called The Date? It just came in my email today and I thought it was hilarious so I shared it on here. We all could use a good laugh from time to time. :)
April, I DO see what you're saying, but to me, and my friends and husband and family, it's funny when the joke isn't ON them, it includes them. Like a private joke that makes them feel included immediately, because it's a former ruse, they're not the butt of a mean gesture on them, they're included in the joke.
Like, for example, a traveling plastic lobster that appears in the oddest moments, is FUNNY. Everyone feels included in the humor when they open their cabinet or backpack, and there's the traveling plastic lobster. Like that.
I don't think April's & Families jokes are at all mean. It's not like they put out dog poop for someone to step in.....lol...now that would be mean,.lol,lol. But I guess everyone has a different level of sense of humor. Traveling lobster is funny?
Boy! I sure didn't expect this! I am not looking for mean and nasty kind of jokey fun..just cute fun. I knew he'd take the ice blocks as a fun thing...he threw some into the bath the other day when I said the water was too hot...he said, 'Here you go Miss Hotstuff, this'll turn you into a penguin!' I naturally screamed when they landed on my tummy, but I knew he was being flirty as well. The cheeky glint in his eye showed me he was sharing an intimate moment of fun.
I guess I didn't really explain what I was looking for very well. I don't like practical jokes like water falling on someone's head or having toilet paper stuck all over someone's car...they aren't funny at all....I am just looking for some cute and sexy funny ways of getting him back when he does silly things to me.
If I didn't like what he did I would certainly say so!
I don't like the idea of practical jokes between lovers, but years ago we had a supervisor who was very much a pain and who had a big opinion of himself. He worked at a hospital. We all chipped in and bought him a big trophy engraved with the name of the hospital certifying he was "employee of the year". Of course the hospital had no such trophy. He showed it to everyone and displayed it on his desk.
It took about four months before he caught on to the fact the award was bogus. Then it suddenly disappeared.
We circulated the rumor he was mentally ill and bought it for himself.
Hmm don't think I like that practical joke at all. Those sort can do a lot of harm.
I must reiterate I am looking for sexy play jokes, not get back at someone jokes. You know, kind that makes you know the person is attracted to you ones.
