My great great great granddaddy served in the Civil War my sister has his discharge paper, i have his rifle (its cool) my dad served during korean war ( he was Navy stationed in Mediteranian) My hubby served in army and my sons off to Iraq in August.

Oh yeah my father in law bless him, served in WWII, he was a medic, never formally trained in medicine, he tells a tale of carring a wounded mans finger in his pocket so they could reattach it ( they did'nt) and wheww I cant say the tales I have heard of the ladies during War wow, !!!

My Dad served in WWII, he was in the Navy and served in the south seas, My oldest brother served in Vietnam, and my son -in-law served in Iraq

My grandfather served in WWII. He was a bombadeer, not sure if I spelled that right!

Also, my husband was sent to Saudi Arabia during the first war in Iraq, The Persian Gulf War. The towers that he stayed in, Kobar towers, was bombed later, in 1996. Scary, huh!

My Mom's Boyfriend served in the Vietnam Nam War.

My great grandfather served in the Civil war.  My great uncle served in the Spanish-American war.  My dad, my father-in-law, and three uncles served in WW II.  My brother served during the Vietnam era (although not in southeast asia) and my husband is a decorated combat veteran from the Vietnam era.  He was a tanker pilot, and did air-to-air refueling in the skies over North Vietnam while under fire from antiaircraft guns and while being chased by Russian MIGs.

My father was with the RCAF in WWII - piloted a bomber.  His father, my granddaddy, was in the army for WWI.  He spent a lot of time in the mud in France.

Both of my grandpas served I believe. At least one of my uncles on mom's side has served as well.

both of my pappy's fought in ww2. one was a marine and the other a pilot. my uncle fought in vietnam and desert storm.

the hubby has been to iraq. he was there for 9 months.

i thank god everyday for him and for our friends and what they do each and every day.

My grandpa fought in the WWII. My great Uncle and Father fought in Vietnam War. My brother fought in the Iraq war in the beginning but thank God he is home with us now!

My grandpa fought with the army the rest with the Navy.

My brother's ship wasn't far from the one that was bombed a few years ago.
