I had some toubles in high school as most on different levels likely did, question if you could have one do-over in high school what would it have been?  

                          I woulda asked that really good looking guy that I had the biggest crush on to the Sadie Hawkins Dance,,,I wanted to so bad and just chickened out!!!

think we all dealt with the plastic mean girls...wow , they could be just horrible,,,,and we let them get away with it,,I wish I had the self esteem then that I do now,,,they would not of gotten away with anything...

If i could change any part of it, i would have not died my beautiful hair black to be a goth and i wouldnt have dated the jock and i would have told the mean girls well actually i did tell them.lol and i would have taken more notice fo the quiet kids as we had a few commit suicide after school.

I agree we do have freedom of choice, but I have always felt very little is random, you were meant to meet your husband and you did, those of us who donate our time on this site are supposed to be here, we will never know how many lives we have changed, but of this I am sure it matters, And not getting that scholarship well,,,its not really a bad thing. You are a sucessful intelligent woman, and maybe it went to someone who needed it just a bit more,.

You know the "what ifs" are interesting, but honestly, I wouldn't trade anything.  If I had gone to college and had become a journalist, my life might not include my husband (I adore him!).  I might have gone to a different state or our paths may not have crossed - at least for a long time.  Everything happens the way it's supposed to!  Because, I honestly believe that we are where we are supposed to be at any given time of our lives - and sometimes that includes the bad things that cause us to learn.

I would not have made that bet with my friend that I would marry the most popular and good looking guy in the school.  That was one thing I won that i really wished I hadnt. There are a lots of things I would have done differently. hmmm.

I would do the entire thing over, I would apply myself more, I would be more outgoing and not so worried about the "small stuff" and I would have stuck with it. My family traveled so much, I ended up getting my diploma via a correspondence program, it is legit, but, I wish now, I would have stuck with the original way.

I would have entered a writing contest my English teacher wanted me to enter.  She was sure I would win.  The award was a scholarship to college.  I had wanted to be a journalist and that's what I would have done!

lmao...egg yok,,,,,brought back a memory,,,in science we were disecting earth worms...the boy across from me chopped his into pieces threw it in the air,,I had on a low cut blouse and you guessed it earth worm peice landing in my bra  infont of everyone..OMG  I must have been a thousand shades of red..dug thme out and threw them back at him,....think he liked that LOL

I with with guessagain.. can i do the whole thing over? cus i hated all of it! I guess if i had to pick one thing i would say i would not have started dating so young (heck i would not have dated at all in HS)  i would have focused more on studying and joining some type of club and tried to be smarter! I was in 9th grade and was already dating and i got with a boy who was verbally and emotionally abused me and it led to no good things and i feel like it ruined alot of things for me!!
Guessagain.. my graduating class was 131 i believe maybe 134 so definetly not a big town! The whole school was about 750 kids!!

my graduating class had 231. we were the smallest class in 20 years. last years graduating class had 753. in the entire school there were 2954 students. the school was built to hold at the MOST 1800...can you say ....over crowded?

the year i graduated i think there were 1600 students....then just BAM! TONS of kids.

How big were your schools?

One I went to had maybe 25 in my class, grades 7 through 12 in the same building, and a short hall joined the entire elementary. The whole high school knew almost everybody or at least knew the names.

One had 450 in my class, lot's of different clicks. Lot's of "Richie Riches" and "Barbies" I preferred to think of as butt wads, but I guess they probably thought of me that way too.

i would have to do the same as guess....a whole do over. i would've been more out going and wouldn't have cared what the mean nasty "barbies" said or how they looked at me. i would've stuck with swimming and actually started earlier. and i would've told my dads second wife off a LOT earlier then i did. (i know that last one didn't have to deal directly with high school but she's the main reason i had/have such low self esteem)

I would have to say that my biggest do over would be staying at the ONE HIGH SCHOOL instead of changing schools every time things got too difficult . Of course I could just as easily have taken the earrings out of my right ear BUT... Its amazing to see some of the people I went to school with now and just how many of them have both ears pierced - I love walking up to them in public and asking them if they are GAY cause thats what I copped all through high school. Guess I was just a trend setter & they didn't realise it . Instead of changing school all the time I would have just bashed a lot of  people unfortunately my violent streak didn't start till years after high school but i can dream !!!!

I would have reached out to the other students with disabilities earlier on as they were one of the few groups of kids that didn't look down on me for who I was.
