Kris Kringle gift?

by redheadaussie, Nov 09, 2009 01:50AM
Ok Not sure if you all know what a Kris Kringle is. It's when you get your name matched up to someone else, (in this case to my brother-in-law) and you buy a gift up to a certain value and you give it anonymously. Lord only knows who in my family got my name but I am dying to see what they come up with!
Anyways! I am stumped! I rarely see my brother-in-law, he is in his late 40's, loves a beer and is really boring as a person. So what do I get him? Value is up to $50 and it can't be identifiable back to the giver. For example, I can't give a beaded piece to him as he would know it was from me as I give lots of beaded gifts to family.
  HELP!!!!!!

lol here we call it secret santa ....pull a name out of a hat and then buy a gift and they usually try and figure out who it was from.....

i would think some beer, some beer mugs, some beer thing to keep beer closed, a nice shirt, would be good gifts.

doesnt have any other hobbies besides drinking beer?

If he likes beer, I would get him a nice beer stein. I am not sure of the cost. People here collect these. Here in the states they're made of metal, pewter, brass, or porclein. You should be able to find a decent one. I do know they can get pricy. Good Luck!!

I finished up finding the perfect gift! It is a hanging metal sign decoratively painted with this on it;
ONE NICE PERSON AND A GROUCH LIVE HERE.

I know my sister will also get a chuckle from it!
