My Detergent is harming my skin!!!!!!!!

I use Dawn dish detergent. My husband doesn’t want to use another type because it removes grease very quickly. We bought gloves but I always forget to wear them. Does anyone have any suggestions on which detergent is better for your hands? I’d really appreciate it!! Really, my hands are destroyed!!!!!

Hey PK1 didnt you know thats a part of marriage?? You sink into his arms, and end up with yours in the sink??  If that hubby of yours is so fussy about the dishwashing liquid get him to do them !!   Better still get him to buy you a dishwasher!!

There is a product out call Gloves in a Bottle. It does a beautiful job of protecting your hands from the hazards of frequent washing. I recommend trying that.

As far as the husband...if he loves Dawn so much, he can to the dishes. Until he does, the choice is not his.

I got into a dish conflict with hubby once, and I threw ALL of them in the trash! That jolted him into reality...nowhere in our marriage license does it say I agree to be his slave...=/

I clean about 8 or 9 houses a week and am always washing my hands.  I use gloves but it still makes my hands extremely dry.

There is a new Dawn product called DAWN PLUS WITH HANDCARE.  I USE THE PURPLE WHICH I THINK IS LAVENDAR.  This really helps my hands and does not dry them out.

This should make your husband happy and still keep your hands soft as well.

I like twehner's suggestion, LOL Let HIM do the dishes and don't worry about it. Let him knock himself out with Dawn, LOL LOL LOL
I'm sorry your hands aren't well, my dear. Just buy whatever dish soap you like if you're the one doing the dishes! Or buy two kinds if your husband does dishes too :)

...or let him do all the dishes...?  Your hands will be stunning!

(I wear gloves.  I store them draped over the Dawn bottle.)

I clean offices so my hands are always in bleach and drying out.  That being said Palmolive is the easiest on my skin.
