Should I go to the ER?

Yesterday I was involved in an accident. we were sitting at a yeild sign, and a lady blew her horn, and my Dad was waiting on traffic to clear, the lady backs her car up, and rams into the rear of my dads van. She drove away, however we got her license tag #. I had back pain as soon as she hit us, but I didnt want to go to the ER on my only day off, and today I am still having muscle pains. Should I go to the ER and get checked, or just wait and see if the pain will ease off

You definitely need to go to your doctor. He/she might refer you to a chiropractor as well. If it is a disc, like it happened to me, it WILL get worse, honey. Go get checked, please. Good luck. I'm very sorry this happened to you.

I'm with some of the others, go to the ER if it's bad-you have trouble moving, feel numbness or tingling, or the pain will interfere with your sleep.  Wait and go to the doctor, if it's painful.  April is right, you will want this documented by the doctor for proof that can be used as evidence in court, if it gets to that point.

I hope you get that nut case that hit you.  People like that do NOT deserve a license!

Go to the ER and find out what happened. That would take the guessing away. If you're reading this, please don't wait any longer, just go.

Go to the ER
When you get home call the police and they will send someone out to talk to you.  You need to give them her license plate number.  Anyone that is so easily upset that she would deliberately and with malice of forethought ram into you like that has to be taken off of the streets.  After that call your insurance rep and give them a heads up about what is going on.
How much damage was done to your vehicle?  Did your parents go to the ER?  Her insurance company will pay for the actual damages, but when it comes to pain and suffering they usually use a 2 to 3 times your medical bills formula.

Most importantly though is to not let a nutjob like that stay on the roads.

Oh my gosh! That's unbelievable! I think you should definitely go to the ER and get it checked out. You could have a sipped disc or something. There's so much that can go wrong with the spine.
Besides, you may want this documented in case you decide to sue this lady. I sure would.
What a crazy world we live in anymore. It's sad how much road rage we're seeing now.
I hope you will be feeling better soon! Let us know how things go.

Go see your doctor, or the ER if it is terribly bad pain.

Did you not call the police to report this?
