The miners are rescued !

I was so happy this morning to hear that the miners in Chile have been rescued .Those poor guys have been trapped down there for 69 days .When I saw them bringing them out it brought me to tears .You know these things don't usually end up like this .I know they and their families are so relieved .It is so nice to see good things on the news .

I jumped the gun .They are still being brought up .Still they and their families can see light at the end of the tunnel after being trapped for so long .

yes I watched it late last night we were so happy and good to hear some ,up beat news, very touching I woke up at 2am and put it on, there were 12 out I think last count .What a trauma they have been through and they will be looked after now as I hear there is a action suit being brought .by the minor's against the company ..

Can't you just imagine how relieved the families were to see them?  It was wonderful watching the reunions.  And did you hear about the one miner whose wife AND mistress had to decide which one would show up????  The mistress did.  The wife said she had no reason to be there.  LOL  I'm not so sure he wanted to be rescued!  He may need a rescue of a different sort.

I heard that.  A company from Pennsylvania.  Really took months off the rescue time.

aww a miracle, I watch for most of the 24 hrs with a lump in my throat, so sure it would sooner or later become stuck with some poor soul inside.........thank God that didn't happen!!!
These poor men will still have lots of hurdles to overcome, but at least they are all out of that hellish hole.
Kudos to the Chilean government for accepting outside help.
I hope this will lead to safer conditions for all miners in all countries, I don't know how they can work under ground as they do???

Sadly the 20+ miners in the New Zealand mine are all dead and can't be brought back up. Would have been nice to have them safe and sound. Two were Aussies. RIP guys.
