Yeah, Swampy saw that and thought -- someone is going to lose their license.

I could not believe what I was hearing, that is NOT good. Geesh.

Hey, we are supposed to be safer in air than on the roadways.????????Excuse me!!

Soooooo....when we get in our vehicles to go to the city or wherever, we are commiting suicide???

Some of these pilots just go through the habitual ritual. The majority of the time your on auto-pilot once you reach a certain altitude.

The pilots in that over run airport incident are hiding something???? My opinion only!
Makes you wonder????

Doesn't sound like the plane crashed. That's a relief. I feel sorry for those who needed to get there on time...their lives have been momentary screwed up. I agree with swampcritter someone is going to lose their license. Hopefully it wasn't anything more sinister than some error or someone's inattention.....

The pilots both lost their license thank god........

Oh I just love airlines that throw a little excitement into an otherwise totally boring day. Like when I was coming back to Australia the pilot on the itty bitty plane to LA from Portland OR said, 'Thank you ladies and gentleman for flying with us today, and I would like to point out that if Steve forgets to close the door of the plane we will all be sucked out and die a horrible death....'   We all looked at each other and were like...WTF???? Suddenly "Steve" blushing profusely got up and said, "Oooops!" and slammed the door closed and latched it securely.
  Was rather funny actually.

Thankfully, I won't be flying anywhere any time soon.
