I get the lasik eye surgery ones a lot.....
I get the before and after teeth add and the Weight Watchers and Jullian adds.
She needs to stop asking me about my goals.
No I am in a study for a new class of antipsychotic (for more information google "Dr. Javitt, glycine") in Phase II FDA study that promotes a fuller recovery and does not cause tardive dyskinesia. I have tardive dykinesia because "Lamictal worsens a pre-existing Parkinsonian condition". But the fact that I had some form of dystonia as a child was not diagnosed until recently nor was it known until recently that in statistical incidences Lamictal made this happen (only to people with a pre-existing neurological disorder). So that's why even if I were selfish enough I would not be eligible for a lawsuit. But as I said I don't think that way. The three variants I have of tardive dyskinesia that affect my mental processes are under (standard psychiatric) clinical study as well but if you look them up online you call up a lot of misinformation so I won't post them but I can say my provider reads through my journal entries for accuracy. I do hope that as they develop these new anti-psychotics (glutamate antagonists) as FDA approved medications they will replace what is out there now (hopefully, depending on results) and since one (this is public information google "Psychmeds123") is in study by Eli Lilly yes I'm sure they will be advertised here and frankly the more the better so "people can have the mental recovery I did without the neurological disabilities". And now back to what other people were talking about...
Oops, that should be Trial, not Tired, which is what I am, due to severe insomnia!
Hahaha......Tired, I'm in the wrinkle category with you! I also get the Lasik eye ad. Assuming I get the corrective lasik surgery, I should be able to see all my wrinkles!
I saw the before-after teeth and I have never visited the teeth health community. I saw that ad on this community. Other than that, Jillian was always on my nerves with her 'How Big is your Weight Loss Goal?' ugh......I was starting to get upset with 'her' lol.......
MJ, that`s an easy solution, come to think of it... :)
ILADVOVATE, I have a lot of reading to do to learn more about tardive dyskinesia. In a nutshell, you are in a study that tries to find out which medication causes this secondary condition? Dyskinesia translated is something about impaired movement, I guess? Well, definitely you have some hot topic ads on your screen then and a legal challenge ahead of you!
*Takes a closer look at the anti-wrinkle ads and a mirror...*
I have ads blocked. I don't see them.
Yes I saw ads for tardive dyskinesia (which is now considered my primary disability) but to give my honest opinion since they were encouraging lawsuits I just wondered how they ended up here. As for medications ads, I may disagree with the concept overall (anywhere) as I think they should be a decision between provider and consumer but they are a part of American society and as long as doctors make independent decisions whether to prescribe medications or not based on safety and efficacy and not the ads, I guess its one way of informing the public. I just wasn't sure how the ads ended up for websites that would encourage lawsuits. Tardive dyskinesia is a long term side effect of some medications but I have actively discouraged people from doing this. With myself there was no malpractice whatsoever (but if people see the term after having acquired a severe secondary disability they will look for it) and I work with the same provider I have for 12 years, but just an unfortunate although rare result of some psychiatric medications. I took the constructive route of working to have it identified, prevented and treated and to identify medications that didn't cause it. And I think that's the route with any medication side effect because people need the medications to recover. I didn't feel the same way about the ads for antipsychotics that appear near my screen. They are medications some people seriously need. And it had full disclosure about side effects. I only hope as new antipsychotics are realized as FDA approved medications that don't cause tardive dyskinesia (such as the study I am in, read through my posts) and have a strong recovery rate, that the ads for those medications will appear on the screen some day. I'm actively working to have this happen. Just my honest opinion.
