What next?

Well i dont believe what I have just read, Ryan Air Based in Europe is going to be charging for in flight use of the toilets....a one pound coin, thats roughly $1.40 to us.....what would you do, pay it or hold it!! Another amenity that may go on some flights is the on flight movie. I think I am going to use the train in the US more ....and paddle my own canoe to Europe!!!!

All this nickel and dime stuff.  Like daisy said, just raise the price of the dang ticket!  Stop being ridiculous making us pay to pee!

I cannot imagine how this makes sense. People will simply quit drinking on a flight and they will lose their alcohol and soda sales. Hmmm! Whatever happened to common sense. I suggest people wear their depends when they have to fly and boycot the potty room!

I have seen this on the news and thought it was funny in a stupid kind of way, how are they going to do this? a coin slot in the door where you have to put in your money before you can enter? once that door is open people will let others in who are waiting outside the toilet so they won't have to pay. Also if the vacant toilet door is closed and the coin slot should become jammed in some way and therefore the door can not be opened and there is only one other toilet or worse still no other toilets because the other one is out of order for any reason well let's just say they will have a few wet seats by the end of the flight,  yeah that'll teach em, charging for our natural bodily functions indeed, lol.

Mad I agree and no inflight movie? to take your mind off needg to go, we will pay it,trust me ,ona fligtht to UK of 11 hours that'll cost me at least 7 dollars and If I drink some wine or more water cost could go up.....think I'll vacation in th US more and dump the being uncomfortable onto family and let them visit me   LOL Hey maybe people will be peein g in the corner of the plane!

That's absolutely ridiculous...Charging someone for something their body does naturally.  What's next a quarter everytime you sneeze, fifty cents if you have to cough!!! Craziness!!!

That is a pretty long flight to go all the way to Europe. I don't think I could hold it that long! That's just crazy. This is why I drive whenever I can. I try not to fly so much anymore. (Of course that doesn't work going overseas!) Things sure have changed since 9-11. It's not the same world anymore. I didn't mind flying before then. We even got decent meals, etc. Now you can't even get that unless it's a real long flight, like going overseas. And they wonder why they're losing money? Maybe if they treated their passengers better. I've heard of people being stranded on the tarmac for hours before they could lift off and they wouldn't even let them go to the bathroom! Can you imagine how horrible that would be if you had a little kid? We took a bus trip once with my daughter and she had to go. I tried to get her to hold it as long as I could but she was crying at that point. I had to ask the bus driver to pull over and he was not happy. But what do you do? She was only 6 years old and it was a 9 hour bus ride!
