In 1978, I bought a used 1972 Pinto Pony.   Olive Green.

I co-signed a loan with my Dad for my $1,200 purchase.  

Some things you never forget .. the excitement of my first car and riding it home!

My parents bought me a brand-new Celica in 1995 for getting straight A's in high school. I still drive the same car today. Even though all my friends drive BMW's, I still think my little blue Celica looks better.

My first car was a Nissian Pulsar NX... can't remember the year. My parent's didn't buy it for me... which sort of sucked, but they taught me a good lesson. I worked hard and paid off the vehicle myself.

My first motorcycle was an old 82 Yamaha Virago that was always breaking down and needing spot repairs (which was half the fun of it :)  )

My first car was a 67 VW fastback with electronic fuel injection. My Dad bought it from a guy going in the Army in 75, it didn't run and we worked on it for weeks because of the fuel injection, and other problems. It would breakdown at least once a month and we would work on it together. Dad paid $150 for it and I paid for the parts, gas and insurance.

My first car was a 92 Honda civic which I saved up enough money from babysitting to pay for it myself...which was a whole summer worth of work...$3,000. I loved that thing......it was a pretty light green color..I ended up selling it because my uncle was gettting rid of his mitshubishi and said I could have it.....what a mistake that was.......

My first car was a '79 Plymouth Duster. It was white with a red racing strip down the side. Cute car! :) It was my brothers who sold it to me when he went in to the Navy. It was a good car, good engine. I cried when I had to get rid of it years later because it was costing more to fix it than I could afford. I loved that car!

i had a dark blue pinto, it was a real lemon, wehn I graduated high school I broke the horn by driving around the local teen hang outs and blowing it so much And my Daddy bought it for me a whopping $3,000. imagine that lmao

my first car was a 1981 mustang. my parents got it for my sweet 16. itook my drivers test in it and still have it tody. my husband bought me a 1992 mustang . so im 35 and i have the only 2 cars ive ever owned.

I really didnt ever have a first car...when i started dating (hubby now) i used his car 1993 Intengra 2 door, 5 speed, Red. Then after we got married, i was 22, my hubby bought me a car, well it was ours, but he says it was mine. He bought me a 2002 White Camry.

It was a 93 Geo Storm and it was Fuchsia.

In 1993 (I was 17) I got a 1987 Pontiac Sunbird ... Red 2 door. It was paid for by my Dad & my Grandparents sent a portion of the money then sent the money to insure it & tag it. The car was $2500...it only had about 50,000 miles on it.

In 1975, a bought a 1966 Buick Special, red, leather, mag wheels, and an "ooga" horn!!  That was the coolest car!  $600!!

i was very fortunate in that my dad was in the car business.  i could just pick and choose...change whenever i wanted something new.

In 1990, I bought a 1978 Olds Cutlass....BABY BLUE!  Well, actually my parents bought it, and I had to pay it back.  ($500.00)
About a year later , I sold it, so I could go on a trip to Florida with a friend from College!
