hey, I'm 50 and still play it loud, hubby complains all the time, said I blow every speaker in the truck, so I am still "young at heart" lmfao

I am still actually young but I will never stop playing the music up load. That's the only way to listen to music!!!

I however hate the t.v. blarring.

I wanted to vote for all of them actually!!!!  Just went to an ACDC concert a couple weeks ago.....Now that is how it is played!!!!!  Ears were still ringing a few days later!!!  Turn it up and rip off the knobs!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Dh and I still listen to it loud. We attend concerts on a regular basis, too.  I think he likes it loud so he can't hear me singing! lol

Define loud ? My suround system consists of 12 x 150 BOSE speakers and two sub woofers and a Marshal base .Being deaf in my right ear and slowly going deaf in the left caused by intercranial hypertension . Or it could have been the 7yrs working in a gay nightclub that played dance music at 115dB .

Hey Jollyman, I agree with you. The funny part is my youngest son, he is 21, keeps telling me to TURN IT DOWN. I laugh at him and just say my stereo, my house, my volume.

I recently bought a new turntable and took out the old vinyl and turned it up. There is nothing like Aerosmith and Zepplin with the pops and cracks.

Now to find a good tube type amp.

I have noticed as I have gotten older that the only difference is I am still young inside but the outside don"t look as good when I dance and the reaction I get is quite different than it was 20 years ago. I love loud music, love to dance but rap makes me want to rip someones head off, curious about that too, I have not figured out why! lol

I'm 55 and love techno/trance turned up real loud on my Walkman headphones and when I listen to music on my PC I use headphones, so the only chance I get to annoy the neighbours is when I turn up the music channels on the TV (but I have to do it when the hubby's not around :-)

Its True isnt it that we feel the same age in our heads , for women anyway nothing changes except other people see the odd line! or the odd ! wrinkle or.... two I have the same motivation and see myself in the same light, I have daughters that remind me otherwise, if I let them...
