cloned puppies

2 stories caught my attention this morning. this is the second one. a 9/11 search and rescue dog, takr, that died in april has been successfully cloned. his previous handler was given the 5 puppies. this company, bioarts international, did a golden clone giveaway where they were looking for the most cloneworthy dog. i don't know a better dog than a search and rescue dog. this particular one found the last survivor in the tower ruble. the handler is now preparing the puppies to follow in their "ancestors" (that's how it was worded) footsteps. that's so awesome!

Yes I liked this story today... it was expensive so I expect not everyone will be doing it but I like the idea and lovely that the great dog is perpetuated...

it is awesome. hopefully the puppies will follow in their...mothers/fathers (i don't know if the original dog was a male or female) footsteps and be rescue dogs that can help people. i could only imagine how great it would be to see your friend in puppy form again. (or kitten form) such an amazing thing that science can do now a days.
