i was checking my email today. i have yahoo. and on the side (for those who might not have yahoo) they post new stories for you to read. well this one caught my attention. "family seen on dr.phil in big trouble" i figured ehhh why not read it. omg....i can't believe these people!!!! they're PROFESSIONAL shop lifters!!! the husband, wife AND their 3 children go to stores that are about 5 hours away from where they live and go on a shoplifting spree for weekends at a time! they steal about 100,000 worth of stuff in a year...selling it on ebay for the money.
now they're under investigation by the secret service and fbi.
Oh i saw the episode they dont even work!! That is their job! and every single thing in their house is stolen!! It's insane i couldnt believe any1 would live like that or risk their lives or their childrens' lives for that matter!
i couldn't either!!! just the thought that i'd have my children taken away would stop me. i wouldn't even care if i went to jail....it's my kids. they are what keep me doing everything i do!
i was reading some of the other stories and the one i saw about the 14 year old girl who didn't care that she was called a **** and ***** because of how she was dressed.....i don't know how her parents could not just i don't know. sometimes i'm so glad i have boys. if i had a daughter and she was that obsessed with "s l u t t y" clothes and looking hot....i'd lock her in her bedroom. i'd make chastity belts fashionable again. lol. i know i wasn't like that when i was a teenager. i didn't get like that till i was in my 20's. which lasted all of a year. lol. i just don't understand young girls these days. even my 19 year old cousin does that. i saw her myspace...now remember she's 19, "engaged" (she's known this boy for 6 months and now lives with him and his family) and she has pictures of her in her UNDERWEAR!!!! she ASKS boys to comment her pictures of her half naked and doesn't care that other girls are calling her horrible names. not only that but she says that nobody has any right (i've told her about her pics as has her "fiance") to tell her what pictures she can and can't have. she's supposedly in this committed relationship wanting to get married but does this. my dh would never have even given second thought to leaving me if i did something like that. why are girls like this now a days?
Oh yeah thats a whole nother topic! My MIl had all boys and my dh said once she didnt like some pants he bought and she chunked them in the garbage!! So that's what i would do if it was my daughter i would go through her stuff and throw ALL the bad stuff away!!
I'm sorry about your cousin hopefully she will understand soon! i know what you mean my family has been going ALOT with my lil cousin's and myspace! The youngest one at 13 met a 19 yr old boy and ran away 3 times!! and i have cousin here in my town shes 13 and she put her semi nude pics on my space and put the sign under them "you want to taste my candy"!! Thats how bad the kids are now days!! You're right too my DH would never think to leave me twice either if i did that! He's so against it i cannot have a my space page!! But with all my family has been through with my cousins i dont really care i dont want one!!
see he doesn't care if i have a myspace...in fact he has one to. we also have facebook pages (it's the only way we can keep in touch with some of our friends) it's the pictures. like we have pictures of us together, of each of us, our kids, the cat, normal stuff like that. no nude pictures or "i'm so super hot huh" "don't you want me" nothing moronic like that. stuff like that is why girls are not respected. they're making it seem as though they're nothing more then a hunk of meat for boys and men. not to mention the pedophiles. ew. i looked on the website the other day and there are THREE living within 5 miles of my house!!!!! there's FIVE within 2 miles of where my nephew lives. and them putting stuff like that on the web.....they're asking for trouble. my cousin (the one with the nasty myspace) has met almost all of the guys (which is well over 100) on her myspace page. and she claims to not be doing anything bad with them.....however, i've heard from the guys she's met (some of them i was already friends with previously and she had no idea) that she.....well was not a very good girl. *sigh* that makes me so sad.
and those parents....i don't know whats worse. having 3 kids and making shoplifting your lifetime career or dressing and acting completely s lutty. society is just so messed up anymore!!!!
Right i see! Thats a good point! My mom lives 4hrs away but shes my granny and 80yrs old and if she did have a pc im pretty sure she wouldnt know how to turn it on LOL! My dad's 50 and hes barely learning but i talk to my step mom online but they live in my town also! Thats the pics i have up too ones of me and my dh if you see my profile and mine on spark people also its just me and my dh!! omg i chkd the site b4 too i have like 3 pedofiles living pretty close to my house i guess i see why dh doesnt want me walking alone around our neighborhood!! That's sad girls put themselves out there like that one day they will see its not all its cracked up to be and sometimes you wind up having to live with things you really wished you could forget and that they never happened!!
Oh i know society so horrible i feel my dh was raised better than me and more traditional i dont ever want my kids like i was growing up i told him i want to discipline our children i want them to grow up smart and with values and respect!!
I always forget you have twins! they are sooo cute!! Is it super hard to be at home with them during the day? My MIL had my dh and his first bro exactly 11 months apart and she said it was just like twins with 2 babies non stop crying!! Just asking i may have to take fertility drugs someday to make my mommy dreams come true so i have to think about that!!
you hear so many stories about those teen girls who post the provocative pictures and then have the guys stalking them and kidnapping them. i think even 16 is too young to be on a website like that. were anyone of any age can contact them.
it's very hard having twins. there are days when it's non stop crying. but.....if it's the only thing you know (they're dh and i's first children) then it's not so bad. i am extremely sleep deprived. i haven't had more then 3-4 hours of sleep a night since they were born. but.....it's worth it. they're amazing babies and my entire life. i'd do anything for them and i just love them to pieces. it's nice knowing that they'll always have someone to play with who is their own age and will always have a friend. i know what you mean about growing up. my mom had to work 3 jobs and my dad wasn't really in my life till i was 9 and that was only every other weekend and holidays. the only reason he wanted me then was because his second wife wanted me there (just to abuse me). she didn't like me because i was my dads first child and only bio logical daughter so naturally he did love me a bit more then her daughter and she didn't like that. so to get back at me (they married when i was 6) she physically and mentally abused me from 6-16. but anyways.....i don't want my boys growing up having their family raise them while i have to work 3 jobs, not having that good male role model in their lives.....so i just hope the dh and i can do a good job bringing them to be good, smart, respectful men. only time will tell.
I heard about that on the radio. What morons for number one shopliffting as a job and number two going on national t.v. and telling people they do it.
Not only are they the cause of all the prices going up but they also put business's in a hard spot. It isn't easy for a business to prosecute these types of crimes either. When I worked for Wal-mart they told me that if you see someone shoplifting first they have to know where they put the item and then the person has to walk so many feet outside the doors before you can even call the cops and if they move the item while you are waiting for the cops and you didn't see them do it then you don't have a case if it isn't exactly where you say it is.
When my son was growing up, the state law was that if you concealed an item, even in the store, it was shoplifting. I found out when the police called. This store had the checkout in the middle of the store. He put some earphones in his coat pocket while he was looking at other stuff. When he was ready to make his purchase he went to the back of the line and took them out of his pocket. He was detained and police were called. We all stood in the back room and talked about it, even the guy who detained him said he had no idea they were in his pocket until he saw him take them out to pay for them, but they had been concealed.
wow they detained him when he was going to pay for them?? lol. wow. i just don't know how people could brag about that! what did they think was going to happen to them going on national television and CONFESSING to the crimes????? that everyone would say ohhh you're forgiven you confessed. no....you're gonna be prosecuted. dumb dumbs!
