Hello Everyone!
My name is Mallory and I am new to the MSK forum. I am a 25 year old mother of 3 who was diagnosed with MSK one year ago. I average one infection per month, and even when I show no signs of infection or stones, I have constant pain. I seem to always have that aching "dry" kidney feeling when I wake up in the morning, is that normalNormal saline flush? Also, I have very high blood pressurePressure ulcer which my doctor says is a result of my MSK, does anyone else have that issue? They will not give me maintenance meds for my BP because he says it will affect my kidney function. Im not sure I understand that....so if anyone could shed some light on it I'd appreciate it. I have suffered from migraines since I was a child and my BP is one of the driving factorsFactor ix complex of that, I just want to understand why I cant treat it.
I have had problems over the past month with incontenince as well as urinary retention, and have been confined to a foleyUrinary catheters off and on. This morning I was diagnosed with Uretheral Diverticulum. I am not sure what that entails and was not told by my doctor. I have to get an MRI next week for it, but I dont know why.
Any information on these topics would be really appriciated. Thank You!!
